Halfway Kings is a two-piece band from small town Seremban, Malaysia. Wielding tenacious guitars and vocals with a vengeance, Halfway Kings alternates readily between violence and vulnerability, serving up sharp melodies rooted in blues sensibilities.
Adeline Chua (vocals) and Joachim Sebastian (guitar) started out in 2010 as a barebones act performing stripped down acoustic shows. They now sometimes choose to muscle up their music with effects, looping and a tight rhythm section.
